I have 2 years and 6 months experience in the field of maintenance of rotating equipment. I have worked in process industry (polyester fiber plant) as Trainee Engineer for 6 months. Now I am working in Manufacturing industry (Machining Foundry) as Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
In 2013, I completed my Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from HITEC University Taxila, Pakistan. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Maintaining the maintenance catalogue of pumps installed at the
different locations of plant.
- Daily monitoring of rpm and the oil level of pumps.
- Maintaining the 3 air compressors (Compair, Broom Wade) of
capacity 8 bar each.
- If any fault comes in the compressors then go with technical team
to rectify the problem if there is play in the bearing or worm gears.
Checking heat exchangers and oil separator on daily basis.
- Maintenance of 2 standby generators capacity 1000kva Caterpillar
& 450Kva Waukesha daily oil check air filter check temperature
and pressure gauges check.
- Maintenance of daily routine problems comes at the different
locations of plants and rectifies them.
- Checking the pressure of pumps and then make the daily report.
- Maintenance of heat exchangers installed at the different locations
of plant.
- Installed spare water pump to meet any fire emergency.
- Checking for vibrations of pumps.
- Complete maintenance of gear boxes of lathe and milling machines.
- Maintenance of hydraulic machines installed in Chenab
Engineering Works.
- Got well understanding of butterfly valves, gate valves, steam trap
valves, globe valves, non return valves, safety valves, expansion
bellows, regulators, solenoid valves etc
Trainee Engineer
Erection of cotton purification plant along with Chinese, worked on
structures as per drawing.
- Supervise R&M in polyester fibre plant and worked on Gear Boxes,
Pumps, Chillers, Vacuum Pumps, and Overhead Cranes Worm & Belt
Conveyers.
- Maintenance of pumps and compressors.
- Reverse flow Fire Tube Boiler of capacity 3TPH, Steam pipe lines,
Steam Valves.
- Boiler operation and maintenance
- Preheating of Furnace oil used for combustion in boiler.
- Safety training for plant equipment usage.
- Welding and pressure testing of hydraulic pipe lines of hydraulic press
of capacity 10 Ton.
- Learning of Maintenance tools for cooling towers.
- Cooling process and maintenance of cooling operation, which involves
operation of condensers.
